Are you looking for firewood for your fire, log burner or wood-burning stove? At S P Firewood Ltd, we supply firewood logs to residential and commercial properties within the local area. We provide our customers with hardwood firewood, logs, kindling and accessories.

Kiln Dried

The logs are placed in a large heat and humidity controlled kiln and left for seven days until the moisture content reaches the desired levels – normally less than 20% – (when tested the logs are routinely under 15%).  The high temperatures of the kiln draw the moisture out of the logs quickly and easily. Kiln dried logs are more expensive than traditional air-dried logs due to the higher efficiency and quality that they offer – so much so that one kiln dried log can possibly provide the same amount of heat as two regular seasoned logs – this is where the true value of kiln dried logs is.  No matter what month or season we’re in, you can always guarantee we will have kiln dried logs available for you.

Log Sizes

There are four main sizes of load: Barrow Bag, Builders Bag (delivered by crane truck) – 1.2 cubic meter and 2.4 cubic meter loads (double load – delivered loose via tipper truck). 
Logs are 230mm x 250mm. Prices start from £52.50 for a Barrow Bag – all prices include 5% VAT.
